Objectives, Strategies and Tactics
Objectives are medium to long term targets set by companies, and give a sense of direction by defining the purpose and aims of the organization, creating the foundations for strategic and tactical decisions. An objective of a company can be communicated through a mission statement. Whereas strategies are plans of action you can take to achieve your objective and are resource allocations to fulfill your objectives, also guiding decisions within the company that will have significant impacts. Tactics are specific activities that carry out the strategy that a company has set.
